Ami Montague founded Saltbox Aesthetics + Apothecary to create a different kind of aesthetic experience—one centered on clinical expertise, honest guidance, and care that never feels transactional.

With more than 28 years of experience in the aesthetics and anti-aging industry and over 21 years as a nurse injector, Ami has developed a deep understanding of facial anatomy, aging, skin health, and the subtle details that contribute to a balanced result.

Her approach to cosmetic restoration is intentionally conservative. Rather than following trends or relying on a one-size-fits-all treatment plan, Ami considers how each feature relates to the face as a whole. Her goal is to create refined, natural-looking improvements that help patients feel refreshed and confident while still looking like themselves.

A Leader in Aesthetic Education and Clinical Excellence

For more than 10 years, Ami has served as a faculty member with the Allergan Medical Institute. In this role, she travels nationwide to train medical professionals in advanced injection techniques, facial assessment, treatment planning, and patient safety.

Teaching other providers requires more than technical skill. It requires the ability to evaluate complex anatomy, make careful clinical decisions, and clearly communicate the reasoning behind each treatment. Ami brings that same depth of thought to her work with every Saltbox patient.

Earlier in her career, Ami spent 10 years teaching aesthetic providers and educating students in laser biophysics at the National Laser Institute. This combination of injectable and laser expertise gives her a comprehensive perspective on aesthetic treatment and long-term skin health.
