PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. PRFM takes platelet preparation a step further by forming a fibrin matrix that holds platelets and supports the release of their growth factors over time.

The Selphyl® system uses a standardized preparation process to help our providers consistently prepare the treatment material. Individual cosmetic outcomes vary, and this preparation method does not establish that PRFM is superior to other platelet treatments.
