Pre-Treatment Instructions
Hydration & Nutrition: Arrive well-fed and well-hydrated for your appointment.
Vitamins: Increase vitamin intake prior to your visit, especially Vitamin C.
Bruising Prevention: Begin taking Arnica 5 days prior to treatment to help minimize bruising and swelling.
Medications & Supplements: Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 7 days prior, including Omega-3s, turmeric, ibuprofen, vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, garlic supplements, and aspirin.
Alcohol: Avoid alcohol for at least 4 days prior to treatment.
Skincare: Avoid skin-sensitizing topical products for several days before your appointment.
What to Expect
Temporary swelling is expected after treatment.
Mild asymmetry may occur for up to 14 days.
Treated areas may feel firm to the touch.
Bruising and swelling can last up to 14 days. Arnica, Bromelain, or antihistamines may help reduce symptoms.
Results develop gradually and are typically visible after 3 months.
Post-Treatment Instructions
5-5-5 Rule:
- Massage treated areas (upward strokes)
- 5 times per day
- For 5 minutes each time
- For 5 days after treatment
Positioning: Keep your head elevated above your heart for at least 6 hours after treatment.
Swelling Care: Apply a cool compress to treated areas for up to 48 hours as needed.
Activity: Avoid exercise for 24 hours following treatment.
Avoid Heat: Avoid excessive sun exposure or heat for 24 hours and saunas for 48 hours.
Healing Support: Arnica (topical or oral) and Bromelain may help reduce swelling and support recovery.
