Intended use
Stratamed may be applied to open wounds, burns and areas where skin integrity has been compromised.
Stratamed is used for:

 

  • The protection and hydration of superficial wounds, burns and compromised skin.
  • The prevention and treatment of keloids, hypertrophic and excessive scars.

Stratamed may also be used in conjunction with invasive scar management options to improve overall results, including surgical excision and resuturing, intralesional steroid injections, laser treatments and pressure garments.
Stratamed is suitable for children and people with sensitive skin.
Stratamed may be used on infants, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Stratamed is intended for single patient use.

How much Stratamed do I need?
Stratamed gel is a unique formulation that requires substantially less product per application than typical moisturizing creams or barrier ointments.
Stratamed is recommended for immediate treatment post procedure and should be continued until the skin has fully recovered.

 
Stratamed 5 g is enough to treat a 2-4 cm linear incision twice per day for over 90 days.

Directions for Use

Clean the affected skin or wound and gently pat dry any excess fluid.
Apply a very thin layer of Stratamed and let it dry (about 5–6 minutes). If it takes longer, blot off any extra gel.
Once dry, Stratamed can be covered with sunscreen, makeup, pressure garments, or casts.
Apply once daily—or twice on exposed areas—as directed by your provider.

Reapply if washed off. For best results, keep Stratamed in continuous contact with the skin (24/7).
